Bio: Brian is the founder
of Family Safe Computers and organizer of the 2008 Family
Safe Computer Conference. He is also a published author
"The Family Computer Handbook" (Practical Press
2006) and creator of Internet Safety Day.
His organization plays an active role in creating awareness
about Internet safety and has proven this from his many
seminars and presentations as well as receiving local and
national media attention for his efforts.
Brian also serves as a technology specialist for a public
school district and co-owner of BCS Computer Repair. His
talent as an effective communicator has served him well
throughout his career repairing and networking computers
in addition to teaching computer technology in both high
school and college settings.
Additionally, he holds a BS degree from City University
of Seattle with concentrations in computer systems and education
and is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), a Comptia
A+ and Network+ certified computer technician, and a registered
Level 2 BICSI Cable Installer.

Ptl. Robb White
Lebanon Police Department
|
Bio: Robb has been a police
officer with the City of Lebanon for the past 23 years.
He has served in the detective section, patrol, swat team,
and hostage negotiator. He is currently assigned as a crime
prevention officer and has been involved in Computer Forensics
for 3 years. He is currently working with the Department
of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement
for the analysis of their computers for Child Exploitation
cases and has recovered hundreds of images to date. He is
married and has two boys ages 14 and 11.

Eric Smith

Bio: Eric is a Security Solutions
Specialist with the Microsoft Corporation. He lives in Cincinnati
and covers the four state area of Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky
and Tennessee. Today, he assists corporations in pinpointing
their security vulnerabilities, and implementing in-depth
solutions to protect their corporate assets against viruses
and other malware.
Eric has been working with Fortune 500 companies in the
information industry, working for the past 20 years. Before
joining Microsoft, he consultatively sold Enterprise Application
Integration solutions with the IBM Corporation.

Jason Faulkner

Bio: Jason,
an IT professional by trade, is the Manager of Technical Infrastructure
for Day International in Dayton, OH. He holds several IT certifications
including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Certified
Technical Trainer.
Between 1998 and 2001, you might have heard
Jason's voice on AM radio as he served as a CO-host for PC-Online
and RadioPCReview on WING-AM. In 2004, Jason was elected to
Franklin City Council and has just recently begun his second
term. He and his wife, Heather, operate Faulkner All-Star
Photography, a business specializing in sports and wedding
photography.

Bio: Rachel was elected Warren
County prosecutor in 2003 but worked as Chief Assistant
and Assistant since 2001. Before that time she worked as
an attorney for Thompson Hine and Flory. She holds a BA
from the University of Massachusetts and graduated Magna
cum Laude from the University of Dayton College of Law,
Top 15% of Class.
Rachel is an advocate for Internet Safety and the protection
of children by prosecuting sex offenders in the community.
She also serves on many boards and committees throughout
the area and is involved in many community events.

Bio: Bill serves as Assistant
Vice President and Commercial Lending Officer for LCNB National
Bank's Springboro office. He holds an MBA with accounting
concentration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a BS
in management from the University of Cincinnati.
Bill has well over 20 years of business experience from
his background in manufacturing, financial review, logistics
management, leasing, and commercial lending. He is excited
to offer the banking perspective to protecting yourself
from various forms of Internet fraud and other related topics.

Andy Kempe

Bio: Andy has been working
for the past 6 years with a company that helps its clients
detect and deter unauthorized distribution of their copyrighted
content and prosecute those who engage in media and software
piracy online. He has a BA from Cedarville University in Management
Information Systems.
Andy is also a youth leader at a local church, so he interacts
with teens on a regular basis. He knows how important music
and movies are to them, and believes it is very important
that parents/grandparents and their children are educated
about the risks of file sharing.
